Dura commenced operations in Holland in 1855, where the business still continues to play a strong role in the European construction market. Dura’s Australian operations commenced in 1950 and has successfully operated throughout Victoria since this time. During the 1990’s, through an employee ownership incentive scheme, Dura became a solely Australian owned and operated business, which has since provided sound business results over many years for its Australian owners.
Dura’s core business within the Victorian construction market is in greenfield construction and refurbishment construction works across many industry sectors, including Education, Municipal, Industrial, Religious, Aged Care, Health & Community and Domestic. These works also encompass all associated elements to the construction process, including civil and landscaping works, ovals, playgrounds and other key infrastructure installations.
